What is a Wiki Site?

According to Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki site:

A Wiki ([ˈwiː.kiː] <wee-kee> or [ˈwɪ.kiː] <wick-ey>) is a type of website that allows users to add, remove, or otherwise edit and change most content very quickly and easily.

Wiki sites are great for collaboration, because all members of a team can access and create or edit content on a website. Edited content is instantly available for others to see.

We have designed Isocentre as a wiki site in order to facilitate such an online collaboration. We hope that with an increasing number of members this website can host academic content in many forms created and edited by members.

On this website you can start writing a small review, discuss a current controversial issue or build guidelines collaboratively. You can share some of the exam short notes for the benefit of others (and in turn benefit from their notes). You can edit or add to content started by someone else and improve on it. There is no limit - use your imagination.
