Journal Scan

Summary:

I have to make a presentation, that is journal scan on Wednesday at our city GI club. The audience will be Surgeons and Physicians. I have though of MALT lymphoma, Rectal Cancer, Anal cancer as subjects on which to present the important papers. Wish to get help and suggestion from everybody. Time is 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes Q & A.

Hello,
7 minutes is probably just enough for ne topic only. In that case Ca rectum would probably be the best since it is still v v commonplace to see surgeons recommending upfront surgery when evidence and guidelines point otherwise.

Hi Harsha, I have one suggestion MMC is in short supply in Canada and Iam told that the manufacturers are not interested due to lack of business (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19643599?itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum&ordinalpos=17 ) people are looking into other concurrent options these days.
For Stomach cancer— yes MALT will be a good topic.
