Hi Indranil da,
Site seems to be doing pretty well.. love all tha work you have put in the help pages. I feel its really lucid and clear now. Just a query who cam make sticky forum post in this forum. We may need that in future

Although this is a question for Indranil, you will have to teach me more about stickies's and more technical stuff, then I shall also start working in that direction.

Hi Nikhilesh,
Sorry for not being more explicit.. put simply stickies are forum posts that maintain their position in the forum. The nature of the forum is that any new posts are placed on the top. That is fine as it attracts attention but at the same time it also results in important information being pushed down and thus being "lost".
Stickies are forum posts that remain "stuck" to the top and are useful when you are posting important information that will be helpful for others in the near or far conceivable future. This facility is available in most of the forums (for an example check out Indiamike) where important information like forum etiquette etc are posted permanently at top like sticikies.

Ok got it, dont know how to do it in our forum. If you know the solution then go ahead and do it. You are probably the most experienced in this area :) please feel free to do the needful. I will need to learn a lot from you and Indranil.

Unfortunately - I can't see a simple way to do that here. This is primarily a wiki site with a basic forum, not a full-fledged forum site. I'll keep this in mind. If you find a way let me know.

Solution is staring us in the eyes he he :-)
Just click on more options at the top of the first post and set stickiness :-D
But seems only you or one of the moderators can do it
